You're welcome PopZeus.   Yes, the PM-3 takes EQ extremely well. The M5's EQ is very transparent sounding to my ear.   It would be nice though to be able to delete the factory EQ presets and be able to save more than one custom preset.

Try the PM-3 with the M5's EQ set to +4 for the 31 & 62Hz bands and +2 for the 16kHz band. You may change your mind.

45-55 on Lo for me. This is with "normal" rock music. Not quiet DSD or anything.

I'm using low gain for my PM-3's. IMHO no need to go to hi gain for the PM-3. The M5 seems to have plenty of oomph for them on Lo.
