@Shanling, Is it possible to make future firmware releases able to display the track number in a X/Y format somewhere on the play screen? I can't be the only one who would like to see what track number I am on when listening to a full album. It seems like this should be simple to implement.

@Shanling: what digital filters choice are available? there are 5 options available on AK4490... hopefully you enable them all to choose?

Is updating the firmware simply a matter of copying over the "m5.fw" file to the card or is there more to it? I copied the file over in a directory (not root level) and the M5 couldn't see it when I tried to update the system from the settings menu...

I believe it needs to be in the root folder in order for the OS to find it for the update.

Yep, that worked! Thanks. Even better, the update allowed me to format a 200GB SD card that was causing me nothing but hassles in a few minutes.

@Shanling, I would also like to be able to see the bitrate of the playing file displayed.

For example, I have a mix of Apple Lossless and 256kbps .m4a files. It would be nice to be able to see the current bitrate playing.

Thank you again for the comprehensive update!!
