Cauliflower Ear
Yeah, I'll take a trip to the audiologist within the next 2 weeks. As far as the fluid hardening, it's well beyond that point. It's been years of training. I actually made it a point to take care of my ears but it was inevitable. And I agree, I recommend headgear for anyone...I was just too...- MicroMint98

Gym head phones with lots of bass
I used to have the UE Super 5Fi EB's and used them all the time at the gym. I never had any problems with sweat or anything like that. The only thing was that I had to replace the cables 3 times and eventually gave them away to my friend. I bought it because of the extra bass that I thought...- MicroMint98

Cauliflower Ear
I was planning on making the jump to customs, probably going with JH Audio but was wondering if anyone has any experience with cauliflower ear and custom IEM's. Previous years of wrestling has given me mild cauliflower in the inner parts of my ear, and it's getting a little worse as I still...- MicroMint98

Westone UM3X Thread
I agree, I've always bought from earphone solutions and their customer service is top notch...especially with returns. You might be able to find better prices somewhere else but I'd rather pay more for good service.- MicroMint98

Amp/Dac for Beginner?
Quote: Any other possible recommendations? I'm also looking to replace my source after it crapped out on me. The J3 was going to be my first choice but I'm willing to spend a little more if need be.- MicroMint98

Best IEM under $100 for jogging and going to the gym.
I was using Westone 1's for a while, probably a little over your budget but they were decent. By the way, I put the cord under my shirt so it doesn't get snagged on anything in the gym. And yes, I use a fanny pack.- MicroMint98

Cowon J3 Impressions Thread
Quote: +100 I'm usually on the go, in the gym or running outside and it's a pain in the butt trying to bring an amp. I use a fanny pack when running but there's other stuff in there like my phone, keys, pepper spray etc etc (yes, there are dogs)...so it's just not...- MicroMint98
