Thanks but my eyes couldnt find any difference between the 2 tube types i.e the round getter base vs vertical. They look identical to me or am I looking at the wrong place.

I have chance of getting some of my first Russian 6H8C tubes, no not the famous metal base ones rather the brown base and black base ones. So which ones to buy out of these 2. Amp is a Feliks Euforia and XDuoo TA-26.

Highly impressed with what the TA-26 does with a TOTL ADX5000. Really an amazing pairing.

IMO the best budget amp for the ADX5000 is the little TA-26. Takes the edge of the ADX5000 as most good OTLs do and makes it sound beautifully effortless and clean.

Sorry I did not see this earlier to respond earlier but here goes. The Euforia is a much better no doubt about it, but the little TA-26 surprised me so much that I would have been perfectly happy with it driving my ADX5000 with no problems whatsoever if I had not owned the Euforia.

I think besides Classical they do wonderfully well with jazz and female vocals. Norah Jones sounds best out of the ADX5000 vs any other high end HP I have tried including the Susvara. However am not really a fan of it for Rock and Blues Rock.

Interesting to note that the DC duo has the Susvara beat in ultimate detail. For me the Susvara had been the ultimate HP for me when it came to effortlessly bringing out all the detail in the recording. Now I really want to try out these DC twins.
