yeah the bass isn't quite as boomy as xb40s but it is definitely much more controlled. i noticed the really nice soundstage on it too. i think it's better than my TMA-1's in that regard. not really an audophile yet so i'm having a hard time discerning the quality of mids and highs. getting there...
