Can anyone give me any comparison on these two? I can get the xb40's for $40 and the ex310's for $60. I've had the xb40's before and I liked them but they were just a little bit too bass heavy. I'm hoping that the ex310's can draw out the mids ad highs better as well as having a more controlled bass. Any info is much appreciated.

The EX310(highely recommended) are very good sounding IEMs (detailed mids, highs and extention is great) with controled deep punchy bass and wide soundstage.

yeah the bass isn't quite as boomy as xb40s but it is definitely much more controlled. i noticed the really nice soundstage on it too. i think it's better than my TMA-1's in that regard. not really an audophile yet so i'm having a hard time discerning the quality of mids and highs. getting there thouughh. also, the noise canceling ability of the ex310's are vastly superious. i can't hear ANYTHING with these things on.
