I had to bite when I saw that price. I've used and enjoyed the 660S for most of the past year - I'm looking forward to comparing and seeing which will be the keeper for me.

I've done the same, as I've found Pono's own new app to be pretty much unusable. I'm extraordinarily pleased and relieved to find that the full JRiver software has given me a seamless transition from PMW. I'm very happy with it.

I sent mine in at the end of last year for repair. I eventually got a brand-new pair from them, but I had to email them in January to prod them. I cut them some slack though at the time, because I sent them in right around the holidays. All told I probably ended up waiting something like a month...

Hi ... You can read about it further up on this page. I was having an issue with the first split second of songs being cut off with the Classic. No issues with the iPhones or iPad I use.   I only got rid of the iPod though because the 128GB iPhone I just got recently made the 160GB iPod kind...

I still use mine just about every day, and I still love it too. I got rid of my iPod Classic so I no longer have to worry about the issue I had with that.

Thanks; will do. Mine is also white-noise-like and is easy to ignore most of the time when I'm focused on something else. It's only at night or in the morning in bed, or when things are very quiet or uneventful, that it really absorbs my attention.

I have, but it doesn't occur with the Classic in any other situation. I use it in the car via USB connection and it's fine there, for instance. It's only with the iDo that it happens.
