Love my W5000s with my Woo6 (metal base Mullard GZ34) - I use a Grace m902 for my DAC and love the warmth and speed - seems to be the best of both worlds for me.

I can not get enough of my W5000 with the Woo6... I have a pair of HD650s also that I tend to listen to only through the Grace M902.. but the 5000s beg for the immediacy and thump a good tube amp can deliver. And the mids loose just a touch of their brightness with the right tube. Jeff

Running my W5000 behind a Woo6 - using a Grace M902 for the Dac and an Underwood transport mod Denon 1930 or lossless flacs foobar.. loved the W5000 through the Grace.. But throw the Woo6 in the mix and I love the warmth added to the high end and the punch on the bottom..

In the plainest English I know - The W5000s are incredible with the Woo6 - I have not put the HD650s on in over a month. Jeff

I bought my Woo6 to try and open up my HD650s - which it does a great job of... However, when I plugged my W5000s into the Woo6 - well lets just say the 650s are wondering what they did wrong.. The Woo gave the W5000s new warmth and much more defined bass... I can't find anything I don't enjoy...
