ZMF Atrium - new open-back co-flagship
Maybe we’re misunderstanding each other: mine won’t look better years down the line because it has a small chip missing. I don’t care about it “maturing” and getting darker, it’ll be fine either way. Other than the chunk missing, it looks beautiful and sounds even better. How did the chip break...- inthere

ZMF Atrium - new open-back co-flagship
I really regret getting the cherry wood now, as I've got a small chip out of it already. I don't want to send it back to get the wood repaired, if that's even an option, because I absolutely can't go weeks or months without it. The chip doesn't affect the sound at all, but in the future I will...- inthere

ZMF Atrium - new open-back co-flagship
Feliks Audio Elise $2000-I feel extremely lucky getting mine 7 years ago for $650. I felt it was a $2000 amp back then and still do, especially with the extras added in version 2. Listening to it right now.- inthere

Monoprice Monolith Liquid Gold (X)
Original OG LAu was 5k; As I listen right now to Quincy Jone's "Walking In Space" on the "X" and ZMF Atriums I'm thinking about the differences...........OG had extra outputs, extra inputs-that's it. The sound is the same.........How exactly do you remake an amp to sound EXACTLY like a previous...- inthere

I would say he probably didn't like the sound pre burn in but he says they had 100 hours of burn in so maybe bad amplification? i dunno- inthere

Monoprice Monolith Liquid Gold (X)
Former original LAu owner here. I didn't get to compare the two side-by-side but the Monoprice version has outstanding sound quality which is very close if not right there with the original. As magical as a solid state amp can get. My main complaint, which I mentioned earlier in this thread is...- inthere

What was your order number? Mine was 7661. I think I was able to order 15-20 minutes a before 10am, when it was scheduled to go live. I made the mistake because I'm on the east coast and I thought it was 10:45- inthere

Stick with perforated for the Atrium, all of the solid pads take the bass unnaturally high- inthere

ZMF Verite Closed-New Closed Back ZMF Flagship.
I think plenty of people will pay those prices for ZMF headphones if only to avoid a long wait buying them directly from the manufacturer- inthere

Wells Audio Milo is what blew my mind and got me hooked on ZMF cans when I heard the Eikon and Atticus at Can Jam NYC (forget the year but I saw NBA great David Robinson there). I have a Milo now and it's pretty awesome. I have the base $1699 version but upgrades can take it as high as $5000, in...- inthere
