I think we can all say that to just about any headphone. The PRO 900 aren't exactly suppose to be musical. Ultrasone is really around because of recording/monitoring, just ask the big man himself!

Figured I should update everyone. The PROline pads work just fine with PRO 900. I'm not sure if the grade of padding used is really up there with the HFI stuff. It doesn't create much of a seal, but is still quite comfortable and airy. Regardless, the PRO 550 are great cans and the included pads...

I think they are spectacular unamped or amped. Seeing as you have them on there way, I see no point in getting you worried/hyped/anxious about any feature or trait. Give them some dedicated time, and make your own impressions. Anything you hear people say only dilutes your own opinion of them...
