Closed & Around the ear Headphones for £250
Don't think i'll go with the HP100 since you and another guy have commented on the bass being light/less than the 840. Now, i've heard a lot about the Focals. Do you like the Focal Professionals? Are they airy in a good way or not at all? I would like some space in them, sort of like...- gurpswu

Closed & Around the ear Headphones for £250
Just updated the thread title. Around the ear, not on the ear. My collection is high bitrate at least V0 VBR or FLAC. Would your recommendations change? I want something that stands out a little more on the treble side of things when compared with the SRH840's. I want to...- gurpswu

Upgrade from Shure SRH840
I want to notice a difference you know? I don't want to pay about £100 more and not find the difference that good, though i do understand the difference does exponentially decrease as you go up in the price range. I'm looking primarily for closed headphones, don't mind if I need an amp...- gurpswu

Upgrade from Shure SRH840
As above. Listen to music from my Nexus 5 and my Computer Scarlett 2i2 audio interface. Will consider pretty much anything as long as the headphones can be driven easily. Thanks! Also, if anyone is looking to buy some used SRH840's that come with their original box and a spare...- gurpswu

Sansa Clip/Rockbox/Last.fm Scrobbling
Hi guys, I just bought a SanDisk Sansa Clip+ 8GB and have put a 32 gb memory card in there too. I want my clip to scrobble to last.fm. This isn't possible with the default firmware. Is rockbox a good alternative that will let me do this? If so...how easy is it to install? Any guidance? ...- gurpswu

Shure SRH840 Vs Beyerdynamic DT770 PRO 80 OHM
Quote: Thanks for the reply. Nope..it was actually the headphone cable going into the headphone. It causes the audio to crackle if the cable is moved slightly. Kind of annoying. What others in this price range (£130-170) would you recommend?- gurpswu

Shure SRH840 Vs Beyerdynamic DT770 PRO 80 OHM
Currently have a pair of Shure SRH840's. They need to be sent back and replaced under shures warranty and I was thinking about selling them as new. I was wondering if it was a good idea to get the dt770 with the money. It's not that i don't like the 840's, but I would like to try something...- gurpswu
