AEON, MrSpeakers' New Closed Back Planar Magnetic Headphone
I owned for a short time the Momentum 2, then I had Audeze SIne and now I have Aeon closed: Aeon are much more comfortable then Momentum when you put them on your neck, due to the long form factor. The best confort about resting on neck is given without a doubt by Audeze Sine (but without a...- giraz

Thank you Dan for your thoughts. I don't hide that a little lean mids would maybe please to me, so maybe I would try a silver cable. Thank you- giraz

AEON, MrSpeakers' New Closed Back Planar Magnetic Headphone
Thank you for your suggestions. I never heard the original Lyr 2 tubes, because I bought it second hand, and it came without original tubes. With my previous headphones (Audeze Sine) i really liked '75's Voskhod tubes, but now, with Aeon, they sound too mids focused to me, and at the moment I...- giraz

AEON, MrSpeakers' New Closed Back Planar Magnetic Headphone
Hi Dan, I recently bought a pair of Aeon Closed from Italian official reseller. I'm very happy with them, paired with a Chord Mojo and a Schiit Lyr 2. Do you have any suggestion about some tube that moves a bit to the background the mids, and emphasize a bit bass and highs?. This is the only...- giraz

AEON, MrSpeakers' New Closed Back Planar Magnetic Headphone
I did not mean I hear louder, but that in some way I feel a better sensation in difficult passages where the basses are the main focus. Maybe my english isn't too much accurate to explain this concept, and I'm talking about sensations, not objective data. Moreover, Mojo by itself is capable of...- giraz

I have similar feeling sometimes, but I'm rolling some different tubes on my Schiit Lyr 2 looking for the best matching tubes. Furthermore, I feel a better pressure and fullness with the Lyr 2 instead of the only Mojo. The full setup is Chord Mojo + Schiit Lyr 2 + Aeon Flow Closed.- giraz

I like Cipher cable, but I think it suffers at high volume. The sound become quickly "imprecise" as you push the volume up. Output from Fiio X5 II is better in my opinion.- giraz

Audeze SINE Series
Right, I forgot that the app is calibrated for the iPhone mic, so it is important to use it and not Cipher mic. I'm going to thest the voluem this way- giraz

Audeze SINE Series
@Arttt interesting post. I downloaded Decibel 10th on my iPhone 6s. I left all default settings. I played a track from Pink FLoyd's Pulse through Cipher cable and Sine. The measurement is done through the mic in the Cipher cable, so I put the Cipher module between the two earcups and I gently...- giraz

Audeze SINE Series
Hi, I'm evaluating a tube amp to buy for my Sine. I would prefer a DIY kit, but lacking of a good choice, I would consider an already built tube amp. Considering the low impendece of Audeze Sine (20 ohms) any suggestion, up to about 500 $ of budget? The strong requisite is to well pair...- giraz
