Good god my hand is on the buy button for the headphones. UGGGGGHHHHH dont know what to do.. $3100 CAD is a ton of cash.

In all honesty I am getting a bit of a hum too and assume it's something on my line. It's not that bothersome so I can easily ignore it.

@kato1995 When I was talking about what the tubes add. I was referring to the warmth. It adds a ton of warmth while the schiit stack is much colder and more clinical to my ears.

So this is replacing my bifrost 2 and asgard 3 combo. So far I'm really happy with it I'm honestly not seeing any real difference in resolution and detail from my old setup but definitely notice what the tubes are adding to the setup. This was definitely a vanity purchase for my desktop and...

Folks. Just letting you know I had a brief email exchange with support at woo audio just asking a few questions. I thought you guys would appreciate the responses. This is my first tube amp so my questions are probably dumb by many of your standards as audiophiles but I hope some new people do...

Just got mine yesterday and am starting to put it through its paces. I love the warm sound and how it looks. I am really happy with it so far. I admit I've never owned a tube amp before so I'm terrified about breaking the tubes, but I assume they're a bit more robust than I think.

I just pulled the trigger on the wa7 third gen. I wanted a nice looking integrated unit with tubes that I can add an external DAC if i want to. I currently have a bifrost/asgard 3 and look forward to comparing them to the wa7 3rd gen. The nice thing here for me is I can try out the bifrost...

So I don't know for sure but it would be absurd for full size headphones to have a 2.5mm connector. Sorry I can't give you full confirmation

Are you sure it isn't a typo? I'm sure a 3.5 to 1/4" adapter would work.

Bimby with Asgard 2 and Grado GH1's as my primary cans.. I also have some HD650's off screen that I don't really use anymore :D   My PC is the primary music source.. FLAC's,MP3's and Google Play Music..

I asked their tech support guys and they recommended NOT shutting off the bifrost (it'll sound better).. Only shut off the amp..    I'm curious how you all feel about that and what you do with your own equipment (Schiit or not).

So I asked the guys at Bay and Bloor radio (Toronto) about the pads when I bought the GH1.. He rolled his eyes and said that was silly he recommended against it .. Remember he would make money by selling me the pads.. Surprising..
