Alright! This was definitely one of the more strange and interesting albums I've listened to this year. I'm not a huge fan of Animal Collective, but this was definitely enjoyable. I really liked how densely layered it is. Also, I agree with heyyoudvd about the mastering. Very good. -

Quote: The reason for this is because CD masters are too loud for vinyl. If they were pressed as is, the needle would jump right out of the groove. The quick way to get around this is to apply a limiter to the master. Hence no dynamic range improvements and no clipping. -
