So recently when demoing the SR009s in my home I was going through my CD collection and just trying different things and I stumbled upon something that blew my mind. When I put in my Beatles Blue Collection (2010 Master, unfortunately) and listened to 'Hey Jude' I was hearing absolutely the most realistic drums I've ever heard. Something about the way they were recorded just make them sound like magic.

I played drums for years and am currently living with a drummer so I've been around many kits and have always had a love for the natural sound you get from drums (if that makes any sense). I've never heard anything that real in a recorded work before and I'm craving more.

I'll pretty much take from any genre as long as those drums sound fantastic.

Best drums I have in my collection is Take Five from Time Out but I remastered it for that.

B'Boom - King Crimson

not only a legendary band and an awesome track,  but well recorded and an amazing display of two drummers in dynamic harmony. Bruford rocks my world.

Also Peart's kit sound on Snakes & Arrows is quite remarkable.
