ETHER 2: Impressions and Discussion
I would agree that they are an upgrade in comfort and overall sound, but they sound a bit darker than the default pads. Being able to make the default pads peelable is very interesting to me.- eIndi

ETHER 2: Impressions and Discussion
This is what I am talking about: Without this, the original pads might be reusable a few times, but not as often and easily as the new pads. I thought this would be included with the new pads, but I did not get any.- eIndi

I got the pads but there were no parts to upgrade the factory pads to be replaceable. Do I have to buy them extra?- eIndi

Focal Clear headphones
Might be the Focal logo on the outside of the ear cup. If it is that, push against it a little and it might stop.- eIndi

Focal Clear headphones
For treble, positioning causes easily measurable differences. For bass and mids the measurements are very repeatable.- eIndi

Focal Clear headphones
Has anybody here measured the frequency response of his Clear and noticed it change over time? Mine seems to have changed over the last few months... Pad wear comes to mind, but I have a Clear Pro and the worn and fresh spare pads basically measure the same up to the treble range, where...- eIndi

The Beyerdynamic DT880 Discussion thread
I have received the real deal now. Sounds pretty good, definitely DT880. There's also the felt on the drivers. Obviously, after 4 weeks without the DT800/250, I can't really compare the sound of both variants. Also received a pair of free earpads.- eIndi

The Beyerdynamic DT880 Discussion thread
Turned out those are DT990 systems. After two days of listening to them it doesn't sound like a bass catastrophe anymore (I was really used to the MS1000 sound), but still there is more bass compared to the triple.fi 10 where once used to be less. For some songs it works pretty well, for...- eIndi
