crinacle's IEM Ranking List
Thnx! Cool! I'll take a look at Amazon Japan! I can't decide between the Sony MDR-EX800ST and the Etymotic ER4XR, they are both nicely high ranked in the tier list. I'm using a Oriveti New Primacy atm. I mean, an A grade IEM for 145 euro's ( the Sony EX800ST ) lol.. that's quite much bang for...- DonRoger

Sony NW-A50 Series
I wonder why the NW-A55 ( and the Sony Music Center ) doesn't reconize all my songs as Hi-Res quality, even if it are flac, alac or ape files.- DonRoger

The A55 is arriving today so I wonder if it will run my Focal Clear. If not I'll use my Oriveti New Primacy.- DonRoger

Need your help upgrading my HD650
Hello, I'm in for a new pair of headphones to replace my HD650, my budget is 1000 to 1200 max ( maybe 1500 if it's really worth it). I use my headphones with a Schiit Valhalla 2 -> Dragonfly Red -> Spotify Premium/PC. The headphones i'm looking at so far: HD800s (€1590, a lot over my budget...- DonRoger

Do you guys think I need a DAC with my Valhalla 2?
Thanks for your feedback! I want to spend like 100 to 150 euro's ( maybe up to 200 ), so I am looking at the Modi 2. Do you guys think the Modi 2 good enough with my Valhalla 2?- DonRoger

Do you guys think I need a DAC with my Valhalla 2?
Hello! I bought the Schiit Valhalla 2 and the HD650 more than a year ago ( almost 2 years I guess ), I love it but I wonder if I can improve my experience with a DAC. Right now my amp is directly plugged into my PC ( I've got a Realtek High Definition Audio on my PC). I hope you guys can help me...- DonRoger

Thank you for all the help, I bought the HD650 and I really like it. I like to spend max. €500/$571 (or a little more maybe) for an amp in the future, is it really worth it? Does it really increase the quality drastically?- DonRoger

Thank you! I'll buy a new amp in about a few months I guess, I bought my E12 a month ago, so I'll stick with that one for now. I think the 650 is a right choice for me Ciacona in D is nice too!- DonRoger

Correct, I think I'll get the 650. He is a good pair of cans in it's own way I guess. And besides that, I can always use my srh840 and se215 if I don't like a genre with the 650.- DonRoger
