From my time on camera forums I've found that people don't usually take him serious at all.

I got mine new on eBay from a seller/merchant called Pro Audio Star for $160. Not sure if they're in stock right now, but they seem to keep a good amount of stock per item.

About how often are people having to re-secure the cables? Once a day or once every few days?

I responded to the other comment before I saw this. Now I'm up in the air again haha. I'm not waiting to pull the trigger on anything though. With the Magni and Modi being so nicely priced I might just do both of them when the time comes.  

Just swapping out the E9 and keeping the E7 sounds like a really attractive route.  

Interesting. I'm looking at getting rid of my 880 Premium and take up the HE-400s. I uses the 770 Pros as my main set for the fun/bass. I liked the sound of my 880s for certain stuff, but didn't use them very much.

A 480 or 512 GB SSD as my main drive. The HE-400s and Denon 2000s. A better and larger desk. Oh, and another car since I've been without one for 3 months because my neighbor ran into mine and it got totalled out by the insurance. 

Have many people tried these with the E9/E7 combo? That's what I'm working with right now to go with DT 880 (600) and 770 (80). I'm thinking of selling my 880s to go towards these and possibly switching to Schiit Magni/Modi in the future.

I find the DT880s to be relatively good looking. I think it has to do with the mesh type appearance of the grill & the riveted DT880 badge.

I've thought about this before. It would be welcome by a lot of people I bet. I'm sure there must be some reason for each company on them making the decision

I had these back in high school and loved em. A friend had them as well. We both loved the bass they had. I liked that the cups could flip outward.
