Try both and stick to what your ears are telling you. I had mojo 1 and bought Hugo 2. I used it for a month and just couldn’t tolerate its sound. I sold it and went back to mojo 1.

How does the sound compare between Mojo2 and Hugo2? I tried upgrading from Mojo to Hugo 2 and I really didn't like the sound coming out of the Hugo. Way too much fatiguing detail and hifi sound.

Tha'ts a good question. There is no point really. More power doesn't mean better clarity either. Its more for marketing claims to be honest. Maybe for a true class amp it would mean something.

The problem is getting the signal to the dac. I am looking at Apple tv 2nd generation can do airplay and also has optical out. This might work.

I have an Esoteric D70 which I really enjoy the sound of. I am currently feeding it from my desktop PC directly with an optical cable (through Xonar soundcard). I am looking for a way to feed input to the Esoteric from my smart devices like phones or ipad since I enjoy the quietness of an ipad...

I can try making it but I might have to bring my 8 yr son with me. He is a veteran. Last year he came as well and just sat on a chair playing with games on my phone and listening to his headphones. I can bring a pair of HD58x and LCD-x. I also have an Esoteric D70 and a Apex Arete that match...
