Vsonic GR01 replacement filters
That's interested about the foams. How exactly do they change the sound if it's not actually passing through them?- d3ft

Vsonic GR01 replacement filters
Due to a wax buildup which had somehow made its way through the protective mesh, one of the paper filters on my GR01s has become unusable (volume about 95% reduced). I've peeled off the filters on both side in order to keep using the 'phones but this has rendered the sound extremely fatiguing...- d3ft

MT831 loose headphone jack
My MT831 (or 832 in this case) arrived today, after I scored it for a bargain on eBay. Functions perfectly except I can't hear the left channel unless I push the headphone plug to one side and hold it there. I'm assuming the headphone jack is loose, is there any way I can fix this?- d3ft

Best sounding MP3 setup - MD, CD/MP3 or DAP?
How do MP3/CD players fair soundwise against DAPs? I'm talking the best each has to offer.- d3ft

Best sounding MP3 setup - MD, CD/MP3 or DAP?
So there are no differences in sound quality notable enough to justify the extra hassle of MD? I was under the impression MD was the best portable sound going around.- d3ft

Best sounding MP3 setup - MD, CD/MP3 or DAP?
Given that the vast majority of my music is in MP3 format (I own the originals I swear ) I'm looking for the best sounding portable solution. The main setups I could think of were: MD - using optical lineout from soundcard to portable recorder or perhaps NetMD CD/MP3 - such as an iRiver...- d3ft

Looking for amps in the sub-$100 range
$150 buys you a maxed out PIMETA from the For Sale forum (a couple went for around $100 a few days ago; I of course, missed out ). With regards to the Porta Corda, given the cans you are using, they're most likely not going to be used portably. Hence, a portable amp is kind of impractical...- d3ft

In need of some advice about headphones and a question about senn' px-200
For that price range PX200 is pretty much your only choice, although a used pair of V6s might scrape in under $40. I've heard interesting things about the Labtec/Creative closed 'phone (can't remember model number and they may not even be closed ). Pity search is disabled......- d3ft

Best <200$'s Headphone Setup(UnAmped or Amped) For Gaming?
The current concensus is that Audio Technica A900s are simply the best unamped cans under $200. They'd be decent for gaming too.- d3ft
