My MT831 (or 832 in this case) arrived today, after I scored it for a bargain on eBay. Functions perfectly except I can't hear the left channel unless I push the headphone plug to one side and hold it there. I'm assuming the headphone jack is loose, is there any way I can fix this?

looks like the solder joint of the headphone jack is loose. I had the same problem with my Sony r50 MD last time. You just need to resolder/reheat the joint to make it work perfectly.
