@euler, if you're from the boston area you should try going to the audio lab in the garage in harvard square, he sells mostly stereo components, but he has a decent selection of headphones (atleast he did when last i was there), grado, akg, sennheiser, etc.

my hd555's clamed a bit for the first little while i used them but they very quickly became incredibly comfy, now i wear them nearly all the time when i'm in my room and feel no discomfort. i have a 7 5/8ish hat size as well, i think it may actually be bigger than that.

750's have long burn in i hear, and i hear pink noise would be a faster burn in. how long of a burn in on the prolines should i do with pink noise.

ooh, i didnt even think of that, ofcourse you'll want an hd player, cuz you'll feel the need to upgrade all your music to lossless and high bitrate mp3s.

i use like a 25 yeard old weller, and i'm perfectly happy with that :-)
