Hi,
i searched the forum first, and didnt want to resurrect all the super dead threads but i couldnt find exactly what i was looking for about this topic.
i have a pair of sennheiser hd555's and want to replace the 1/4 jack with a 1/8. i know the 4 wires in the cable (red, white, black, blue) and have found mixed ideas on what each of these wires is, some say red/white are the signals and black/blue are grounds, and others are saying like... white and black are the signal wires on these particular headphones.
i know typically that red and white are the signals, but i just wanted to see if anyone knew for sure before i go about sticking a new plug on.
also, any opinions on the neutrik 1/8 plugs?
