Hey guys,   I recently bought a pair of ATH-M50's and I've been really enjoying them. However, I've been using them with my computer a lot and I've noticed that the headphone jack tends to get quite hot sometimes. Is this a possible risk to my headphone jack?

Haha, I'm getting some mixed opinions. I'm honestly frozen with indecision right now, though I'm a little inclined to go for the Grados at this point, but I'm still very skeptical of the leakage. Can anyone else testify as to how much these headphones leak? At low volumes, would it be suitable...

Hmm, well, Kukuk, what do you think of the M50s vs. Grado SR80s?    And are you sure about the noise leakage? When I'm in the library I play my music at a really low level, but I would hate for it to leak.

Well I guess they might not have to be closed air. I use Px-100s quite a bit in the library with lower sounds and it hasnt been a problem. Is there really a big difference between, let's say, Grado S80s and M50's or DJ100's? Enough of a difference to go for open over closed? Because I can just...

Well as I said, I'm willing to spend a little more, maybe get monitors and a subwoofer. But I do need help if I'm to get that. Again, can anyone suggest good monitors and a good subwoofer for music + games + movies for 100-250?

So would the monitors I suggested be best? And again, I need suggestions for a subwoofer, as I have no idea where to get one and how much to spend, relative to how much I'm spending on my speakers.
