DX150 screen issue
Need some help, tried the search & Ibasso with no immediate help. i recently got the dx150 and all of a sudden the top portion of the touchscreen has become unresponsive. Specifically the area the brightness slider is. I factory reset & reflashed to v1.06 (with android 8.1 os) to no avail. I...- BL33DnEaRs

Shanling M0 - Smallest Hi-Res Portable Player - New Firmware V3.6
Alright fellas, either I'm missing something here or I'm just a dunce. Picked this lil feller up this week and put 50gb worth of flac files on it. File structure is what I am assuming is once hooked to PC....(drive letter for M0), a media go folder (not sure if this is the root or not),-artist...- BL33DnEaRs

Just needing a no BS assessment, plz
This hobby (obsession as of late) along with all other things tech-related changes daily. I'm looking for a reliable, somewhat current technology-ish all in one DAP. I mainly would like to replace my Sony A25 which has and still serves me well especially using bt connection along with LDAC (if...- BL33DnEaRs

Sony WH-1000xm2 sound quality
I've recently picked up a pair of these, mostly for the ANC. After a bit of time with them paired to either my S8+ or Sony NWA25 using LDAC, they seem really muddy and lack any detail. Most of the music files are FLAC on the A25, and Spotify on the S8+. Both sources have eq's that COULD...- BL33DnEaRs

LOD sound w/ Sony NW-A25HN
Recently picked up this new DAP. While it sounds good, it drives lower ohm'd iems (16ohm & less) hard, with punchy bass w/o distortion. However, using a higher ohm'd iem, 32 and up, loses all the bass no matter eq setting. Considering looking into amping it. Is the WM port a true LOD like my...- BL33DnEaRs

Cheaper $= better sound?
You are correct, they both are BA drivers. I too see they are different ohms, just never understood how that make such a difference. For sure the A26 likes the pairing with the ZST's over the H100's. They sound so much fuller, but I must say they lack in the mids/highs department. Now the...- BL33DnEaRs

Whats the $ difference?
Recently picked up a Sony A25 Walkman. Loaded with 128GB of lossless stuff....sounds great. Just out of curiousness, I looked up what I assume is the next common progression for an upgrade. The A35, which is Android OS, seems much more solid piece of aluminum and with touch screen....for much...- BL33DnEaRs

Apple Ipod Classic 160gb (new) - Best Amp ?
My $0.02, I originally paired a classic 7th gen with a JDS C5D. So glad I did. I have seen others Rockbox theirs, I have no issue using Itunes, or Senuti, (treats Ipod as mass storage without Itunes). I consider it still rather portable, even though it is a bit heavy. This paired with my...- BL33DnEaRs

Cheaper $= better sound?
Here's a new one on me. Recently picked up a Sony NWA20 series walkman. Nothing special, loaded it with a misc of flac, and mp3s. I originally thought the need for this was simply to find a smaller, lighter player for when on the move. My "main" portable is a IPod Classic 7th>JDS C5> T-Peos...- BL33DnEaRs

Best listening experience: iPod + AMP or new DAP?
I recently had this same scenerio. Ipod classic 7th gen. I just started getting into the "mid tier" hifi gear. So many daps, amps, dacs, iems.....almost overwhelming, especially not being able to listen before the purchases, that and not knowing if the "differences" where really going to be...- BL33DnEaRs

When did you first experience...........?
Crazy isn't it? No telling the $ we've spent on "name brand" crap that inferior priced supremely surpasses in performance. We all are to quick to judge by the costs of something thinking it is a direct correlation to the way it will perform.- BL33DnEaRs
