Owned a Vol-Aspen once. Volant marque on one side, Aspen on the other. Volant was Plymouth and Aspen Dodge. Apparently went in Plymouth on Friday and came out the other end Dodge on Monday.

Listened via Qobuz Hi Res a few days back. Sounded good but it had some of the flattest live Stones I've heard. Gimme Shelter was lame to my ears and I think I've heard it live at least 10 times over the years. Last time in Denver with my 45 and 42 year old kids who'd never seen them before.

I have a Linn turntable, I do I do! Music to my ears and medication to my soul. Hope this helps. LOL

I really enjoy Hiatt. Saw him at small live outdoor venue at Botanic Gardens in Denver years back. He was terrific. Haven't seen these albums. Thanks for the heads up.

Back in '68 I was a freshman in college. Loved Oh Well Parts 1&2 when heard on underground FM at the time. I rushed out to buy Then Play On, the album available at the time. Who knew Oh Well wasn't on the LP. It came out on the LP a bit later when it was re-issued by the label to take advantage...
