This time the revelation comes from Russia and the multi - instrumentalist Katya Yonder. Her first LP since the 2017 named "multiply intentions" and calls for repeated listenings, a great work of art for the likes of Kate Bush, Tanya Donnelly, Liz frazer, Liza Gerrard, Enya, Julia Holter, Olga Wojciechowska, even Maria Minerva is a clear influence at this record and the list goes on......

Eastern tradition blends in harmony with western rhythms and styles creating an utterly divine music universe if it's own floating in your head for quite a while.......
A mystic feeling surrounds the listener and magic starts flowing in the air......
Great production, superior voice, a unique talent from the east.....

"another time"

Happy listenings everyone ........ :kissing_cat: :astonished:

I have a Linn turntable, I do I do! Music to my ears and medication to my soul. Hope this helps. LOL

:hear_no_evil:
There are some bad people on this thread!
Looks like you'll be joining @SteveM324 in my blocked list @BagelJoe
I am not remotely tempted by this ancient, outdated, obsolete and ruinously expensive playback medium. Not at all. Not even slightly...
I have no interest in these ancient contraptions......or the strange black discs they play.

you should check out Corey Harris 1999: Greens from the Garden, Downhome Sophisticate and Mississippi to Mali (Rounder) 2005: Daily Bread

I was listening to Corey harris a few nights ago, both Downhome Sophisticate and Mississippi to Mali on Qobuz. I used to have Greens From The Garden on CD but lost it years ago. Great stuff.
