    Music Apps, Tips and Tricks for the LG V30, V35, V40, V50 & V60

Brief question. Would I get more enjoyment and value by purchasing LG V30 Silver for Verizon 64gb - LTE - 6in QHD Plus FullVision Display, LTE, GSM (Renewed) for playing my downloaded ALAC files and streaming Amazon Music HD or an android based DAP near the $300.00 price point? Thanks for...

Japan is the headphone paradise, and here's the proof

Saw this thread for the first time today and I am stunned by the number of headphones available to demo before purchase. I have lived in or near several of the largest cities in the US and have never seen anything like it. Wonderful.

Jeff Buckley Grace - Pono Remaster

Thank you for information. Have you compared it with the Legacy Edition - redbook remastered version?    It was my understanding that the vendor had integrity. Is this not the case?

Completely agree, sir. I like to think that the album as a whole is an artistic expression and intended to be listened to from start to finish or as in a book from front to back.

Jeff Buckley Grace - Pono Remaster

Jeff Buckley's Grace is one of my favorite albums. I noticed that Pono has released a 24/192 version of the album. I have not been able to find any information regarding the source material used or any other information regarding this release. Is any one here familiar with this release?

I have been listening with the HD650s for years. Have not found a reason to give up a good thing.

Computer Speakers Recommendation for $200-300 price range.

I think the Emotiva line of powered speakers offer excellent sound for the money. And customer service seems to be very responsive and responsible.

    Sennheiser HD650 & Massdrop HD6XX Impressions Thread

I can recommend the Momentum Version 2s without hesitation. They provide good isolation which you need when riding the train and sound like Sennheisers, which is a very good thing in my opinion.

    Sennheiser HD650 & Massdrop HD6XX Impressions Thread

I very appreciate the Sennheiser  sound and own and listen with the Momentum Version 2s and HD650s every day. The only headphones to better the HD650s, per my preferences, are the Audeze. When I listened to the LCD-2s, I heard a more resolving and involving version of the HD650s.

Mac OS X Music Players - alternatives to iTunes

The sound quality is wonderful, but is great to read that the developer is continuing to work to improve it.

Sennheiser Momentum 2.0 or M2 Wired

That is a really tough question to answer for you. For me, comfort is very important and I find the M2s among the most comfortable available. I am a huge fan of the way Grados sound, but they are so uncomfortable for me that I just cannot listen with them and I really wish this was not the case.

Your thoughts on DSD today, late 2015. (POLL)

Since my music is in ALAC, are you saying that a DSD64 file compressed in a lossless way will be about 4x the size as the rebook version?  If this is the case then, I think I have to sacrifice a bit with sound quality to keep a manageable library of music. And how about the other versions of DSD?

Your thoughts on DSD today, late 2015. (POLL)

I appreciated the sound of the few DSD titles I listened to on a friends system. However, they are just too large to be practical for me. I just had to upgrade from 2TB drives to 4TB drives and a large library of DSD files would mandate the expenditure of substantial funds just for storage. Am I...
