I have been rather silent on this thread for the past months, but my reason is rather simple: the CL2 are awesome and apart from answering to questions every now and then, I really have nothing else to say. Everything they do sounds right to me.

I am very happy with my Null Audio OCC copper cables and concur with Kitechaser that high quality copper cables are generally a good choice. Silver cables are more expensive and require careful matching, so if you are new to the whole thing it's a good idea to go for copper.

People vary a lot in musical taste, and it's even more true when it comes to singing. Somehow this is right up my alley. For me it's a great cover of a pretty timeless song, paired with a very clear and direct studio sound without too many effects on top.

I have been using EAC for two years now and find it to be pretty much perfect for CD rips.

I should have been more precise, I didn't mean put on an adapter, but actually soldering a new plug to the cable without any adapter in between. I am aware of the issues when mixing different output topologies, it's no fun!
