i think you should contact the dealer.... i tried one back in China, everything is fine...

all these curves are not "real", cause what you get depends on many things, like the room, the pre mic, etc.....

there are many physical equalizers.....but most of them are for proaudio area, and most of them are expensive....

if it's a portable amp....why not DT880 32ohm?

that depends, if you got a headphone like K701,K702, or like HD600 650, you really need to get an amp I guess you can just simply see the price of headphones, more than $200, you may need to think about an amp
