  the older version called walkman is working perfectly as i stated in my last comment. the newer version called music requires some tweaking to make it work unfortunately. i prefer the older version though

What do you recommend for a music player that takes an advantage of the DAC? I've been using Poweramp v3 alpha and it's so buggy that i can't handle it anymore. i have to re-enable the hi-res output every time the running song ends.

i am planing to get NX2 soon, any recommended DAP to get with it which is cheap and does the work and preferably with good ui? i wanted to get an old ipod classic but i can't find any in good condition within my budget, 40$ maximum. i was planning to get dac+dap for 70$ but i guess it won't work.
