Same situation here. I own D2K and I'm going to buy A5. Same budget. I've just sold Xonar ST.

I'm looking for new DAC/AMP for d2000 and I wonder is there a big diference in SQ between D4 and Compass or DAC_II (using D2000)? I know that this is portable vs. full-size but maybe someone know.

Hi, what would be best dac/amp combo for D2000 in <300$ price range? I want something handy, not too large (e.g. compass is too big) which could be easly moved to another place at home with my laptop. It can be portable (ibasso) but it must have enough power.

Hi, I'm thinking of buying this setup but I'm not sure if D10 will have enough power to drive pro900. If not, which dac/amp would be a better solution? It don't have to be portable. Desktop is also ok, but generally: smaller, nicer -> better. Budget: optimal 300$, max 500$

I'm in a similar situation Any recommendations would be nice.
