I'm a completely newbie.... and i would like to ask you for advice, i'm supposed to get a sennheiser hd6xxwith an 4-pin XLR cable, and i'm debating myself between this topping DX7 (on massdrop) or save and gather almost the doble for the schiit jotunheim with a DAC module. What would you do in my case?

Daaamn.... i was about to buy the NFB-11 with the ESS9028pro, then this amp/dac showed up,

1x 9028pro vs 2x 9018 wich is better now ? :frowning2:

FYI the DX7 ess 9018K2M is a mobile DAC chip while the 9028Pro is a desktop DAC chip.
2x 9018K2M = 2x2 channel while the 9028pro alone is 8 channel if I'm not mistaken.

Hi, I'm newbie and I have doubts. With which headphones can come well the topping dx7?

Its price is very attractive.

Thank you
I've been using it mainly with the Acoustic Research H1 running balanced. Pretty awesome. It also works really well with sensitive IEMs. I love it.

Man, decisions, decisions.
D30/A30 Stack, DX7, O2/ODAC Combo, Meier Corda Rock plus my 2i2, Aune x1s
The "up to 350€" Range sure is crowded as hell. How should any beginner be able to decide between all this ^^

Honestly DX7 actually has some worse specs, but if you want balanced + 6.35mm then.... There isn't much choice in that segment.

Well I'm really enjoying the DX7 so far. Like Jimster said, if you want balanced - choices are a lot more limited. It works great, doesn't get hot and I'm a sucker for devices with a display screen :nerd:
