Wow what a huge accomplishment to win out over some incredible competition, especially as the competition is significant more expensive. I do hope to hear these one day!

Thanks!

Just a question, Is Mrspeakpers ether Electrostat just a better version of Stax Sr 007 or they are both completely different?

They have technology in common, that's it. Other than that, vendor rules don't allow us to discuss other company's products. All I can say is I've tried to tune this to create a unique voicing. Some may prefer it to Stax, some may not, hopefully many will find both interesting and now have more diversity in their 'stat collection.

Was the pricing announced for this? I'm guessing it'll definitely be above $3000? :triportsad:

It'll definitely be below $3000, and not $2999.

That's great news! An affordable giant killer flagship. I still doubt i'll be able to afford it but am glad it is so much more affordable than ridiculous $50-80k priced headphones

:) We're really focused on delivery of great value at the price points we serve. I'm not a believer in charging what the market will bear, but rather charging based on our costs.

Great headphones you have created!

When do we expect Eather E will become available for ordering and start shipping, and have you any plan for different colors, like dark blue or black?

@arnaud you need to hear the Ether ES on a BHSE slightly hotrodded ...they give the STAX 009 a run for their money and at the LAAS2017 the Ether ES was voted the best over the HE 1v2 Sennheiser and the HiFiMan Shangrila.

Yes it apperantly gives the big Uber dollar products major competition and a very affordable price.
