All Dan has said about price is that it's "well below $3,000.00". We are taking $500 deposits as a result of not having an absolute answer on price. No pre-order can be paid in full nor would we want to take in more on deposits until we understand what the final price is. It's our hope he announces that final number soon. We do understand that many of you prefer to just pay in full and wait but as long as we are still unsure of the final price, it isn't a good business practice.

I hope it doesn't sound as bad as the Ether flow models and Aeons in terms of balance and timbre. I feel someone really needs to work for Mrspeakers who understands how important tone is to a headphone.

if MrSpeakers misses the mark with their electrostatic offering I would be looking hard at the SR-007 with the port mod applied. I would much rather a headphone that errs towards darkness than brightness.

I went through the Ether C, upgraded to an open Flow, but never really loved that headphone. A little too bright and thin sounding to my ears. Sold it. Now using a HEKv2 and I much prefer it over the flow.

His target price is $2799.00 being he is just about ready for production I imagine we'll get the final pricing confirmation very soon.

Glad to see some one felt the same way about how the open Ether Flow sound. I almost thought that I've got a pair that's outside of the normal deviation, given all the other comments I've read here.

I would never call it a bad headphone, just not tuned to my preferences. Ended up not liking it as much as I wanted to - kinda like the HD800 / HD800S in that way for me.
