Especially with the right cable. The Elear gets even better. I have had a love hate relationship with my Elear. Now it is pure love.

Earlier today I went along to Audio Sanctuary (Greater London), armed with my Mojo, to trial a few open cans. In the line-up was the Beyer T1.2, the LCD-2, and the Elear.

Long story short; came away with an Elear

The hd800 or hd800s would be a complimentary pair in my opinion. Will get a wider soundstage in general and less intimate than the Elear. (Which is not a bad thing in this regard). The hd800s just has a bit more warmth then the original 800 (and more bass) but that might be of more interest if you like the warmth... if not then hd800 like you know will be more neutral.

Both the Elear and Utopia pair very well with the WA8. I haven't spent any time with the 6SE on the Focals
