My stock cable doesn't, but the silver upgrade SE has it and silver update balanced not. I am not worried about it.

Found it. The flc8s has twisted cable while the flc8 has different cable. Just making sure, I'll be receiving the 8s. Thank you guys.

really enjoying my accidental find: clear ULF, gray and gray.
no boomy bass ovewhelming things, taking away detail.
the gray (MLF) offers enough bass.
this combo keeps all the details and yet has very satisfactory bottom end for me.

In my particular case, while bass is the same, mids are clearer and highs slightly brighter. I am sticking with red-grey-green and I love the combination.

It fits FLC8s fine, I don't plan on changing the cable often though, so YMMV. So if you are fed up with the stock cable, this is an alternative.

I don't notice any change in sound. The fit is so much better now due to the softer cable and the lack of memory wire, the stock cable keeps getting in the way.
