FitEar F111 — Impressions, Reviews & Discussion (previously TO GO! 111)

Ah, I see.

What about details/clarity? Which one is do you think is better, the FAD Heaven VII or F111?

I would imagine that the FAD is at least on par with F111 in this department, but will surpass the F111 with Spinfits.

Do you think that is the case?

I think the F111 is more linear with better treble timbre but the VII has that FAD magic in the midrange and it's a little bit of an X factor. I'd say the F111 is clearer but not necessarily more detailed. It'll just be a matter of taste really. I'd say I slightly prefer the the F111, as a mostly guitar driven rock listener, but if I listened mostly to piano based pieces, the VII would be a better choice.

Hmmm. I see. Thank you for your response.

I actually got a chance to audition the Heaven VII, but only briefly, and never get to actually compare them with the F111.

I do remember liking mainstream pop/rock with both of these earphones, though.

They are the only two IEMs that I felt have the "speed"(for lack of better words) to keep up with the Etys.

Like, you know, the music never feels like a wall of sound with Etys and these two iems. It's kinda hard for an amateur like me to explain.

Your impressions is much appreciated.

I hope I didn't derail this thread too much.

If anybody by any chance still has the F111 v1 with the one piece glossy housing like in the photo and would be wiling to depart with it, please notify me immediately.

All the connectors were changed to the new spring loaded ones .............and hence the matt connector face plates for all the FitEar universal line...

So the the early built version with the one piece housing doesn't have the spring loaded connectors but instead the old 2 pin found on most ciems?

sorry to bump these thread,

Found some interesting pict from http://www.aloaudio.com/earphones/fit-ear/fitear-a111
They seem sell F111 with cable 006 instead of 003, and the price quite high compare to the original.

could someone talk about sound different F111 with 006 vs 003. because mine was broken memory wire, I need to replace the stock with that new cable.

Hi

I'm very pleased with midrange and treble but still looking for an upgrade cable which is outstanding in terms of transparency and bass response  as well as wider soundstage a bit.

I tried 000 cable but its cable is too hard and quite annoying due to microphonics..

I do some survey and here is the list of cables that I can go for audition with my F111:

Toxic Virus
DHC Symbiotide Fusion
Beat Audio Silver Sonic MKV

Any advice please?

Dont do it.
They place the filter inverted.
I break my F111 because cant pull the filter from the noozle.
