Never tried DLNA in my life but. Using Windows 10 built in service through the control panel it is working fine with This FiiO X7II :)
Thanks for testing. Have been burned by Fiio X7 once, very cautious this time. Are they MP3 or flac? Thanks for your time.

I see what you mean. Read up a lot of bugs that aren't 3rd party app related. But advertised features for x7. Fiio has not fixed them since it's launch two years ago.

Hopefully x7ii and x7 get stuff done with their firmware.

To the members giving initial impressions, can you detail if the alphabetical order of the files listed in FOLDER view, is correct. On the X5III, alphabetical order is pretty screwy.
omg, that is annoying, it does that too on Aune M1S. But in random order, all bad XD.

on X5III it's much better than Aune but still screwy.

For aune on me it's Numbers - A - G - *Insert Arabic/Arabic/Indian Characters* - G - L - *Insert Korean/Japanese Characters* What - M - Z - *Insert more Asian characters* *Insert Arabic Characters* (Dafuq)
Candy from Aune Support says it's all messed up and sent it to engineers. But have not heard a thing so far.

Would be a miracle if Fiio perfected this. Have no contacted Fiio support since it's not as bad as Aune's.

Hmmmm, ok, what about this, does the X7III firmware allow for viewing long filenames, without truncating the filenames or the folders. Sometimes on the X5III, in folder view, the files are truncated, basically making some folders indiscernible

I am prepping for my lessons (Japan time) but I see your questions. I will try and answer them as soon as my work prep is done :)

The Folders appear to be in perfect order

The long file names are 3-4 words then truncated (...) with 2 words at the end
When playing they scroll full length left to right under the progress bar.
It also scrolls in the mini widget that is at the bottom of the screen (top image)

Don't believe in them reviewers. I did a side by side comparison to an AK380 & X5 3 and it did come close in SQ and it costs a fraction of it's hefty price. Don't just listen to others, just listen to yourself.
You never know what you would like!!!!

I don't think you understand, i personally own an ak320, and it's SQ is far superior in my opinion. To me, the SQ is night and day difference between the X7 and the AK320.

Thx for the answers, it seems they have improved the firmware for the more expensive device. Appreciate it!! Good luck on your tests

X5III doesnt sound like the X7. X5III is on par with the AK320 and surpasses it with some Android Music Player Apps.
