If you live in Canada, HeadphoneBar.com has them on sale. Compare Linum BAX balance to Effect Audio Ares II ++ that I have, Linum BAX present more different sound signatures when I switch XIV and R with my Zeus, maybe that is because the music I play, maybe the Ares is single end, or maybe is my DP-X1.

I enjoy the R setting when I sit in front of my computer at work. It makes me feel the music/stage is in front of me with some distance, very clean very details. I enjoy the XIV setting when I in open areas, eg. walking down on the street or in the train. It makes me feel I'm on the stage with the band/singer. I got stung by playing Hallelujah in http://www.asmf.org/recordings/handel-messiah/ first time with the XIV setting, I feel I am actually surrounded with the singer in the orchestra, I can't explain how amazing with my language.

Per side is more helpful. Many times you only need to do one side when sending in for refit.
