Does the wax filter included in the TX-series make any significant impact on the sound as opposed to the regular T-series? The wax-guard feature seems like it could be helpful, but I'm hesitant, given that they drive the cost up $5 and seem like they could impact sound... Anyone with experience...

Boil water, put the tips on the prongs of a fork, and put the fork along with the tips in the water for a little bit. Take them out after about 40 seconds and squeeze them with a napkin. It took me like 3 times and they came out really good. I also took pics but they were to big to post here...

are the medium shure olives close in size to the comply mediums ?

Getting just 8 pairs of mixed Shure/Comply tips to Luxembourg from Amazon.de would cost me 42 euros (from third party sellers). For 8 bits of foam. Some things I'm just not yet ready to put up with   Any other good websites in continental Europe that would ship for cheaper..?

Will it be easier to dress the Comply T-500 on the IE8 than the 400?

Does anybody NOT like the TX-100's with the filters?  Thinking of trying them.   Another poster in another thread mentioned that the wax guard actually forces the tip to stay open wider versus the regular tip which provided MORE treble.  Is this possible?  If it is it would make me think the...

I don't know how many of you have a-jays so I might be talking to a wall but does anyone use a-jays with a comply tip? I'm trying to figure out which tip goes with it.   I only have the j-jays as a comparison and it seems like the j-jays has a smaller tube than the a-jays. I'm thinking it's...

Comply is coming out with new tips called the S series.     Right now, they're only available in one size, S-400.  They're compatible with JVC Marshmallows, Skull Candy Ink'd, some Sonys and some Ultimate Ears.   Also, shipping for all their products is free til the end of August.

Hi to all head-fi'ers!   I've purchased my first IEM (SM PL-30) and after trying all the supplied tips, I've noticed that after about an hour of use, my ears start to itch.  My question is how can I solve this issue? Will getting the comply's tips help?   Thanks!
