Hi to all head-fi'ers!
 
I've purchased my first IEM (SM PL-30) and after trying all the supplied tips, I've noticed that after about an hour of use, my ears start to itch. 
My question is how can I solve this issue? Will getting the comply's tips help?

Comply tips will indeed help with the comfort issue - they're super soft, hands down the best foam tip i've ever used in terms of fit.

Yes, comply tips give great comfort and isolation...but sound aaarrggh! Compressed dynamics, muffled highs and veiled mids...very traumatising experience!

That depends on which IEM they're used on though. Complys on the IE8 did tend to kill off some of lush highs making them sound kind of dull.

Have you tried sony hybrid tips? I use them on mine and they are the most comfortable silicone tips I have tried.
