Sony 1000x mark ii - huzzah!
I'm curious, what app is this? Interesting that it has an Atmos mode. Would assume it might be helpful when watching movies. That's the Samsung SoundAssistant. If you have a Galaxy, you can download it from the play store. If not, you'd need a rooted Android to get that functionality elsewhere.- MosIncredible

Sony 1000x mark ii - huzzah!
LDAC and EQ in the Sony app don't work at the same time. You forfeit LDAC if you want to use the EQ. AAC works but you have to change to that in the developer settings every time you connect which is annoying. Funny you're trying to get more bass, I was trying to get less lol. They're bass...- MosIncredible

Bowers & Wilkins PX Noise-Cancelling Over-ears
Just got these as I'm in the process of returning the 1000MX2. With the Sony, the ANC modes were either too thick or too light but I made a great EQ with V4A for the max ANC setting. However, I couldn't help but to be paranoid about their durability and curious about other options. Especially...- MosIncredible

As far as I know, you have to be using AAC by changing to it in Developer settings (this allows you to use the EQ in the Sony app without switching to stable connection), or have a newer Galaxy with the Sound Assistant app, or be rooted and use one of the many equalizer apps.- MosIncredible

Sony 1000x mark ii - huzzah!
Just got these three days ago and with some EQ to knock down that bass, I am a very happy man. I found aptX HD to be more stable with my phone so I use it over LDAC. I'm using v4a and knocked down all frequencies under 1k a bit and bumped 1k a little. A very clear and defined sound while still...- MosIncredible

The Beyerdynamic T51p Discussion Thread
Have the t51i. Been using these since Jan 2015. I always think about selling them but then I realize how much I use them. They're just too comfortable. I'd like a less bassy headphone but I EQ it a little and I'm good.- MosIncredible

Audio-Technica ATH-DSR9BT/ATH-DSR7BT Bluetooth Headphones (With Digital Drive Technology That Replaces a Traditional DAC)
Either one of you heard the HD600? How does the bass quantity on the 7BT @dcfac73 or 9BT @Mysteek compare to the HD600? I like my bass quantity no lower than the HD600, a little more or better sub-bass performance would be perfect.- MosIncredible

Audio Technica's new APTX HD BT headphone ATH-DSR9BT
I'm under the assumption that they somehow developed a way for the drivers to see 1s and 0s, and vibrate based on what it sees instead of the traditional, 1s and 0s to an analogue signal that then travels to the driver. These drivers apparently know that 1100010100101 means violin middle A (not...- MosIncredible

Huge Comparison of [almost] all the Best Bluetooth Headphones - post your own comparisons here
Thanks for this. I hate when Amazon bundles products that aren't really the same. The only thing that should be bundled is the same product in different colors. Now the P7 wireless are at the top of my list. How's that sound signature? I like a nearly neutral headphone.- MosIncredible

Google Pixel (Phone & Audio Quality)
Plenty of volume with what set of headphones? I've never had a problem playing any IEMs with any phone I purchased. Most new flagship phones have a clean output, it's the power that makes phones stand out. Also, Phone Arena doesn't differentiate between headphone load and no load like GSMArena...- MosIncredible

Google Pixel (Phone & Audio Quality)
Yep. An SD card and a legitimate headphone output and I'd be all over this phone but Google let me down as usual. I wasn't expecting the sd card but I was expecting them to take in HTCs expertise on audio. Nope.- MosIncredible

Nexus 5x and 6p sound quality
I haven't seen too many people speaking bad about the quality, only the output. And most people confuse loudness with quality. I'm more interested in the opinions expressed on this forum than most other places unless the poster has a very detailed, knowledgeable post.- MosIncredible

Motorola ATRIX sound quality
You have a link to where that was discussed? I can not confirm slow bass or sound "enhancers" that are on all the time. There are some built in effects that you can use in the stock music player but I haven't touched that player since my first 10 minutes with the phone. I did however notice a...- MosIncredible

Motorola ATRIX sound quality
I use my Atrix with the IE8 & PowerAmp and love it. I stay under 12/15 because it gets ugly in a hurry but there's plenty of volume before that point. I now leave my iPod Classic in the car for the Alpine and only carry one device for all my needs. Never heard Vibrant & Voodoo though, sorry.- MosIncredible

Hello all. Purchased the HD600 w/ a 650 cable back in Nov 08 thanks to this site and love them now just as much as I did then. Never felt any reason to upgrade and still feel that way. Burning in headphone
Quote: I'd think you'd have to record the sound from the headphone of a song at the exact same mic position & volume as the previous measurements so that you are able to view waves. Play a double kick, 808 kick, bass sweep, etc. If the bass was slow, two quick 808 notes would look very...- MosIncredible
