I've only noticed a slight click if the resolution of the song switches (eg if going from a 16/44.1 song to 24/96) or if the player has been paused for a decent amount of time before resuming. Is yours clicking between every song? What app are you using to play the songs? Streaming or Local files?

This mirrors my experience exactly with the 20s. I will only listen to them via the Cipher cable out of my iPhone. Anything else feels muffled, muddy - I know a lot of people here EQ to fix that, but I haven't found anything that comes close to the Cipher cable out of an iPhone/iPad

I'd be happiest with a new cypher cable with a USB-C connection (maybe compatible with MacOS as well? :) ) - but a lightning to USB-C adaptor would also be fine in my eyes. Although - I imagine that the article you liked to is correct and the aim is to remove ports from the iPhone altogether.

I wonder if there will be a way to connect these to the new iPads with USB-C or if these headphones will slowly go away (assuming that the iPhones follow suit in coming years)

Exactly this! I have also been in the 'no EQ' camp - I think because the headphones I've tried it on previously haven't responded well to it. The iSine 20's have changed that!

I can't get the ear locks to work either. I think you need to have a very specific ear shape for them to work. I have no issues with the hooks though. I have the crunchy noises in my left ear also with the groovy tips if I move them while they are in my ear. It hasn't bothered me enough to look...

I can hear it also, but it is very faint and only sometimes. Seemed to happen yesterday after watching a YouTube clip... after switching back to the music app I could hear it.... but after pausing the music again the noise was gone. (iSine 20 with Cipher and iPhone 7 plus)
