I installed Fenestrated pads ASAP on my MG's. I had the issues of my ears touching the drivers. Prefer the comfort of the Dekoni's over the stock pads, can't really tell a difference in sound either.

When I asked a Focal rep, they said the same thing in terms of warranty length for the Clears (3 years) but when I went in and registered the headphones online and printed out the warranty certificate, it said 24 months. Do you know the reason for the inconsistency?

Quick question to the people who had the HD6xx, my curiousity is getting to me. If I have the Clear MG, is there any real point in getting the HD6xx? Mostly if I don't have super discerning ears. I had the 650 probably 9 years ago and completely forgot how they sound but everyone ALWAYS raves...

I went ahead and swapped my pads for the Dekoni Fenestrated Sheep Skins. Good thing my ears aren't super resolving as I can't really tell a different. But I can definitely tell a difference in comfort...AND THE FACT THAT MY EARS NO LONGER TOUCH THE INSIDE OF THE DRIVERS.

Never had this issue with the Clears. Its the top portion of my ears that are touching the drivers. I think its due to the fact that the drivers aren't flat, but all curved/concaved. Hopefully the fenestrated elite pads don't change sound too much.

Just got mine yesterday, absolutely ADORE them over the Clears I briefly had. The only thing I don't like is the fact that my ears are slightly touching the inside :( I might look into get some Dekoni pads which I really don't want to do but I gotta get some space between my ears and the actual...

I returned my Clears (within the return period) and paid the extra $270 to go to the MG's. Just waiting for them to ship.

QUICK, WHAT LOOKS DO YOU PREFER, HD800S OR THE CLEARS? IS THE BROWN GROWING ON YOU? I want to know everything.

Does anyone having impressions between CLEAR MG and CLEAR MG PRO? Can't seem to find a clear answer. Unlike the previous gen Clear and Clear Pro, they said the new MG varients might have different tunings.

Has anyone used the Dekoni Nuggets to preserve the headband or is the Amazon headband wrap still the best option? I'm concerened about the Nuggets because of the adhesive that you'll be sticking on the alcantari. Not sure if it'll damage the headband when you remove the nuggets or that spot end...
