Title.
Will I gain anything from going to a Magnius/Modius stack or should I just stick with the Element 2.
I would eventually like to stop chasing the dragon (lol).

Modius and Magnius were created to please the measurement-heads. I have owned the Modius and IMO, it is not a good sounding DAC, regardless of the price. If you do more research, you might come up on better options out there for the same price.

As for the Magnius, my friend tells me the Magnius is not a good product either and would rather pick the Asgard 3.

Sheesh.
I guess there isn't a point in going from an Element 2 to a Magnius/Modius stack.
Only reason why I was contemplating it was everybody absolutely RAVES about Schiit.
That and their marketing states "sounds as good as 1500+ amp dacs"

Well, Schiit makes good products. Just that, Modius and Magnius are not the good ones from their line-up.
