Completely agree, sir. I like to think that the album as a whole is an artistic expression and intended to be listened to from start to finish or as in a book from front to back.

Jeff Buckley's Grace is one of my favorite albums. I noticed that Pono has released a 24/192 version of the album. I have not been able to find any information regarding the source material used or any other information regarding this release. Is any one here familiar with this release?

I have been listening with the HD650s for years. Have not found a reason to give up a good thing.

I think the Emotiva line of powered speakers offer excellent sound for the money. And customer service seems to be very responsive and responsible. 

I can recommend the Momentum Version 2s without hesitation. They provide good isolation which you need when riding the train and sound like Sennheisers, which is a very good thing in my opinion.

I very appreciate the Sennheiser  sound and own and listen with the Momentum Version 2s and HD650s every day. The only headphones to better the HD650s, per my preferences, are the Audeze. When I listened to the LCD-2s, I heard a more resolving and involving version of the HD650s.

Congrats on the Oppo HA-1; I have heard that it is a wonderful sounding product. And it also looks very cool.

That is a really tough question to answer for you. For me, comfort is very important and I find the M2s among the most comfortable available. I am a huge fan of the way Grados sound, but they are so uncomfortable for me that I just cannot listen with them and I really wish this was not the case. 

Since my music is in ALAC, are you saying that a DSD64 file compressed in a lossless way will be about 4x the size as the rebook version?  If this is the case then, I think I have to sacrifice a bit with sound quality to keep a manageable library of music. And how about the other versions of DSD?

  I first thought that these headphones attenuated bass, but then I heard a track with low bass organ that was well reproduced.  The low bass is there it is just that the sound is not weighted towards mid-bass. I also think the mid range is somewhat recessed and resolution is somewhat lacking...

Has anyone else had difficulty nailing down the sound of these headphones? By that I mean, does it favor certain frequency ranges; to what extent and whether at a material detriment to others? I will right about this when I have more time listening with them.

For what its worth, the M2 wired are extremely comfortable; they actually fit over the ear and mine are not small ones.

My reluctance is you need to buy it for each computer; should permit installation on 2 computers - desktop and laptop.
