Opened up my HD280's to see what was going on inside, was thinking of re-cabling them, and what the hell???? They are made with 555/595 drivers??? And the HD555 & HD595 use exact same driver???? What is little circuit board for??? Anyone know??? Does it adjust impedance something???

For what they are and what they don't do to your wallet (got mine at newegg for 34 bucks shipped) they are phenomenal!!!!
