Just picked up a Jensen 12v 1700mA ac adapter from Best Buy for at home listening... and WOW!!! Those 3 extra volts really make it shine! It's the first time I've listened to my HD280's and haven't felt like there was something missing or the sound couldn't be improved in one way or another. It's absolutely superb!
