My friend has just bought me a pair of the MH463 from China. But unfortunately, the volumes on both sides are a bit uneven, probably by 15-20% judging from my setting. I have taken the drivers out and physically look fine, I will check the impedance later.

The humming interference and/or static noices may also come from bad soldering contacts. This happens quite often when you have some oxidation at the pins of your tube/valve. You may want to have a check at that as well.   Quote:
